George C. Scott, who starred in a variety of films including "Patton," has died at 71. Scott died Wednesday at his home and the cause of death is unknown. In 1996, doctors discovered a life-threatening aneurysm in the actor's heart. We remember a truly gifted actor who in turning down the Oscar on principle showed great character.
